Q: What are Foot Relief Insoles designed to do?
A:
Foot Relief Insoles are fluid filled insoles that have
five primary benefits and a long list of secondary benefits.  The insoles are designed to cushion, massage, absorb shock, give arch support, and increase circulation.  The liquid insole will form to almost any shape foot giving you a customized fit after only a few minutes of wear.  Many customers refer to our liquid filled insoles as "liquid orthotics" because of the way the insoles stretch slightly allowing the liquid to fill in the unique arches of your foot providing maximum comfort.

There are so many health benefits you will notice when wearing our liquid  insoles.  Foot Relief Insoles are designed with comfort and durability in mind.  The pressure and stabilization points are arranged in a special configuration that separates us from our competitors and gives our insoles a higher level of comfort that you will most likely never get with other liquid filled, gel, foam, rubber, or silicone shoe insoles.

Not only do our insoles have a totally different feel than our competitors, many of our customers tell us that our insoles feel softer, more comfortable, and feel like they have more "gel" when compared back to back with our competitors at tradeshows and other events.  Don't be fooled by smooth talking sales pitches or internet hype.  There is a reason our competitors have to extremely discount their insoles and offer you an inflated unrealistic warranty that you will most likely never use.  With Foot Relief Insoles you can rest assured that comfort, quality, and durability, is exactly what you will get.

Q: What do Foot Relief Insoles feel like when you are wearing them?
A:
Our customer responses are the best way to describe what our insoles feel like.  Customers say:  "I feel like I am walking on Jell-O" , "It's like a water bed for my feet" , I Feel like I am walking on soft sand without the wetness" , "I feel like I am walking on a thick padded carpet all day long" , "These are the softest most comfortable insoles I have ever tried".  And of course "I feel like I am walking on water".  These are just a few of the most common statements we hear.  At Foot Relief Insoles we have a saying:  "Trying is believing".  You may have tried everything on the market but until you try Foot Relief Insoles you'll never know what our customers are raving about.

Q: What are the insoles filled with?
A:
Every Foot Relief Insole is filled with pure food grade glycerin also known as glycerol or glycerine.  This thick clear liquid is water soluble and creates a nice even layer of comfort under the foot when pressure from body weight is applied.  As you walk, the flowing action of the glycerin acts as a massaging agent from the heel to the ball of your foot.  This massaging action helps to increase the circulation of blood to the tissues of the feet  The increase in circulation in the feet from this massaging action also helps move the circulation of blood back up into the legs.  When standing still, the liquid forms to the foot causing an even distribution of weight on the pressure points of the foot helping to relieve the discomfort of stand long periods of time.  The glycerin also absorbs shock with every step that would normally travel through the heel and into the rest of the body causing fatigue.  A subtle heel to toe rocking motion when standing is all it takes to massage your feet keeping them fresh all day.  This is done naturally as you walk when wearing our insoles.

Glycerin is a liquid that has a boiling point and freezing point over twice that of water.  The viscous and thermal properties of glycerin make it an excellent choice for a massaging agent and to help keep your feet at an even temperature in hot or cold weather.  Many customers like to place the insoles in a freezer or on a heating pad to aid in the reduction of swelling from various foot conditions.  Click Here for more information on Glycerin.

P.S.  We recently added 20% more liquid glycerin to our insoles giving them even more cushion, arch support, and shock absorbing power.

Q: What materials are the insoles made of?
A:
Every Foot Relief Insole is made from the strongest USA manufactured medical grade polyurethane we can find.  We believe our materials are of superior quality to our competitors.  Our liner is made from a durable polyester fabric that is heat sealed to the polyurethane insole guaranteeing that the liner will never peel, tear, or separate.  This liner has an extremely soft feel and will also absorb and trap moisture keeping it from entering your shoe liner.  You can then wash the moisture and odor away.  See washing instructions below.

Q: How long will the insoles last?
A:
We have designed and built every Foot Relief Insole to last by using only the most durable materials we can find.  Our insoles have been put to the test by nearly every major industry including construction, delivery, medical, factory, retail, and more.  Our new and improved model has a known damage and defect rate that is currently less than one half of one percent (.005%)  We invite our customers to put our insoles up against any work or activity related abuse they can find to test our product.  And as always we will stand firm on our warranty against any damage that you can inflict on our insoles.

Q: How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
A:
Foot Relief Insoles is committed to delivering a quality product to our customers.  However, as with any personal wear product, a number of factors can result in varying lengths of product life.  Foot Relief Insoles cannot accurately foresee how each customer will wear or use our insoles which makes the exact lifespan of our product nearly impossible to determine.  This is why we remain committed to keeping our customers satisfied by offering our full one year warranty against any damage or defects including accidental damage like a nail, or from your dog or cat, or our Extended Two Year Warranty with online registration.  We hope our commitment to service and customer satisfaction will allow us your continued business and support.  For warranty instructions and procedures click here.

Q: How long will the massaging action last?
A:
The massaging action will never go away, however; your feet will become accustomed to the motion of the liquid within a few days of wearing them.  The insole will stretch and conform to your foot giving the massaging action of the liquid a more balanced feel.

Top

Q: How thick are the insoles?
A: The insoles are approximately 1/8" thick when the liquid glycerin is evenly dispersed, but don't be fooled into thinking they are not thick enough.  That is the biggest misconception people make when considering liquid filled insoles.  Nurses, Doctors, Delivery Men, Retail, and Construction Workers would not continue to buy them if they did not work!

When you stand on our liquid insoles, they will feel 2-3 times thicker than they actually are because the pressure from your body weight compresses the liquid forming a layer of cushion along your whole foot from the heel to where your toes start.  Foot Relief Insoles will fit in almost any type of shoe without making them tight.  They are designed to go on top of your existing shoe insole and you will rarely have to remove your existing insole unless your shoes are already snug.

Q: Can I use the insoles for sports?
A:
Our insoles are constructed from the most durable materials we can find and have been used by athletes in many popular sports.  The insoles are designed to withstand extreme impact and absorb a percentage of the shock normally sustained during athletic activities.  This reduces fatigue to the body and speeds up recovery time.  We invite customers to put our insoles to the test in any sport.  As always we remain committed to our warranty against any damage.

With any change of footwear for sporting activities we recommend that you first wear our insoles in practice first until you get accustomed to the feel of the insoles.  Some athletes may also prefer to wear out insoles underneath their existing insoles to minimize the massaging action while maintaining the support and shock absorption power of the our glycerin filled insoles.

Q: Can the insoles help with certain health conditions?
A:
Foot relief insoles have been worn by customers with just about every foot and body related health condition you can think of, especially diabetics looking to improve circulation in their feet and legs.  Some of the more common conditions that users report relief from while wearing our insoles include plantar faciitis, heel pain, heel spurs, ball of foot pain, arch pain, ankle pain, knee pain, hip pain, and lower back pain.  For a more complete list of common foot related problems and how our insoles may help click here.

Q: How do Foot Relief Insoles compare to other gel, rubber, and liquid insoles?
A:
Foot Relief Liquid Filled Shoe Insoles provide the same benefits you will get with gel, rubber, foam, or silicone insoles only they do something more.  The key is the massaging action of the liquid.  As you walk or make subtle movements the gentle massaging action helps to keep blood flowing around the tissues of the feet and helps to keep lactic acid and other acids from forming around the nerve endings and in the muscles of the feet.  This can help to extend the amount of time you are able to stay on your feet and help to reduce the recovery time from pain and soreness when you actually get off your feet for the day.  Compared to other liquid insoles the main differences that set us apart are the materials, pressure points, softness, long term feel, and durability.  All of these factors combined make a noticeable difference.  Just listen to what our customers have to say.  Click Here

Q: How do I clean my insoles?
A:
Wash the insoles as often as you like.  The liner will never peel or tear from the liquid bladder from frequent washing.  The insoles can be washed in the washing machine or by hand using hot, warm, or cold water.  Just throw the insoles in with your colors and pre-treat with detergent or stain remover to get them extra clean if necessary.  Let the insoles air dry of blow dry them if you need to wear them fast.  Never place the insoles in the dryer.  This can deform your insoles and they may not fit right in your shoes.

Top

Q: How do Foot Relief Insoles help with foot odor?
A:
Much of the foot odor we experience comes from our shoes!  When wearing our insoles you may notice moisture build up on the liner if you have sweaty feet.  This is normal.  This sweat and oil would normally be absorbed into your shoes causing bacteria to build up which can eventually lead to foot odor.  The Foot Relief Insoles fabric liner helps to keep your feet dry throughout the day by absorbing odor causing moisture which then allows you to wash away the sweat, oil, and bacteria out of the insoles as often as necessary.  Even daily if required.

Top

Q: How much weight and impact can the insoles take?
A:
The exact amount of weight the seals and pressure points our liquid filled insoles can take can vary, however we have tested them extensively by running them over with forklifts, tractor trailers, SUV's, and by punishing them in high impact sports repeatedly.  We even applied 125 PSI of air pressure into an empty insole bladder before it split open.  You will never apply this much pressure on your insoles.  However, should you decide to test our insoles with a very heavy object or piece of equipment, be our guest.  Just be sure to take a video of it and send us the video no matter what the results are.  As always we will be happy to replace the insole with our unconditional warranty if you are successful in breaking the seal or pressure point from extreme weight, pressure or high impact activity within the first year.

Top

Q: How do I trim the insoles?
A:
Start by trimming only 1/8th inch at a time from the tip of the insole and then test it in your shoe.  Trim again if necessary.  Repeat these steps until you have a perfect fit in you shoe.  Do not trim the whole trim line shown on the insole as this will reduce the insole by one whole size and you may only need a half size or less depending on the shoe.  Never trim the back or sides of the insoles.

Top

Q: Can the Insoles be worn with sandals and flip flops?
A:
Yes, the insoles can be worn with sandals or flip flops.  With open toed or open heel sandals you will need to take a small piece of clear packaging tape or painters tape and roll it so that it is double sided and place one piece of tape under the heel of the insole and one piece of tape under the ball of the insole.  This will keep the insole in place all day and you can then remove the insoles and place them in another shoe if necessary.

For flip flops or sandals with the toe strap you will need to cut a strait line 1/3rd of the distance from the right or left depending on which insole and then cut or punch a hole just above the main insole seal.  Soon we will have instructional videos on how to do this and our insoles will also have guide lines helping you determine where to properly cut for flip flops.

Top

Q: Can the insoles be worn over orthotics or other shoe inserts?
A:
Foot Relief Insoles have been worn by thousands of customers over orthotics and arch supports.  Our insoles are thin enough that in most cases you can place them right over the top of your orthotic or shoe insert without making your shoes tight.  Our liquid filled shoe insoles will form to your orthotics or arch support inserts giving you a nice layer of cushion and giving you more comfort.

Q: How does reflexology relate to Foot Relief Insoles?
A:
Reflexology divides the feet into regions or zones called "reflex points" that connect to specific organs and glands in the body. Foot Relief Insoles gently massage your feet as you walk helping to stimulating those reflex points. Many customers report that our insoles have helped to stimulate feelings of well being and have improved their overall energy levels as a result of the massaging action on their reflex points.  To see a reflexology chart click here.

Q: Will my feet get hot wearing Foot Relief Insoles?
A:
Unlike some of our competitors who don't use a liner or competitors who use materials that cause friction build up, we use a soft non-abrasive polyester liner similar to clothing you already wear.  The softness of our top liner helps keeps your feet from building up heat from friction especially when you sweat.

Occasionally one out of about 500 people may experience a slight warming of the foot due to the massaging action of the liquid glycerin.  This is similar to the warming feeling you might experience after a full body massage.  This can occur because of the toxins and other acids being dispersed around the nerve endings and soft tissues of the foot.  This is almost always a temporary situation and we recommend you remove the insoles for about a half hour, drink water, and then place the insoles back into the shoe.
